Abstract The dose analysis of Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) on head cancer using the Particle and Heavy Ion Transport Code System (PHITS) has been carried out. purpose this study was determine rate received irradiation time required for therapy BNCT method. research conducted through a simulation approach. PHITS code used to design an epithermal neutron source derived from accelerator define geometric dimensions tissue components. model is based Snyder’s with cells located in center brain at depth 3.8 cm. investigation distribution included skin, skull, sections consisting Planning Target Volume (PTV), Clinical (CTV) Gross Tumor (GTV). Simulations were out boron concentrations 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 μg/g tissue. Based results, greater concentration, resulting rate. highest obtained GTV area 6.37 x 10 -2 Gy/s concentration effective calculated 13,08 minutes.
